My Textbook Says...(Word is a Symbol?) @ Monday, November 08, 2010
Today, a little "okay" than yesterday. Done my revision for the communication subject and yaa..I feel a little bit happy about it. 350 ++ pages and now I know exactly what that evil textbook want me to learn from it. So, for today entry, I want to share with you all what I've learn from the textbook.
" What we know about other peoples is just a memory about them in the past..since then, they've change. We meet different peoples every time we round - up with them. "
" Meaning can be seen in the dictionary, but the interpretation comes from the individual. "
" Perceptions of reality are determined by our thought processes. Our thought processes are limited by our language, and thus language forms our reality. "
" The remarkable computer called the human' s brain is capable of playing out multiple scenarios in milliseconds. "
**For 1 semester, I didn't know that my communication subject actually teach me how to ask someone out on a date (wtf??????)
**My textbook "said", there are 3 types of relationship: #1 Acquaintances, #2 Friends, #3 Best friend or intimate relationship. I know, I have the #1 and #2, but the #3...Yes and No. (I don't have a best friend but yaa..I have a intimate relationship) friends should be treat equally with other friends you have. Friends will always be friends. No more than that. (my textbook is wrong???????!)
**My textbook "said" to me again.."word is a symbol". Haa...? if words is just a symbol, then all this time when we say to other people that we care, we love etc..etc..is that a symbol? (my friend came to me and say, "symbol of love" then, I answered him, "so what is the meaning of sex symbol?" if that is just a symbol..why some people turn on when they talk about that kind of thing? then he said, "biasalah...human.." (punya teruk that jawapan..!) XD
**The terms "Abuse of anonymity" make me want to say... "what??! That's why I own a blog!"
