Keep the music playing,
because in a moment I'll hate myself.
Keep the music going,
let it beat my heart into a fury.
Let it take away my inhibitions,
keep it drumming on,
or I'll come to my senses far too soon.
When I let myself flee,
on those blessed melodies,
I am truly free.
When the music stops,
it takes my soul with it.
I become mortal flesh once again,
and I hate myself.
Oh, I love to be free,
keep the music playing.
Don't let it stop,
or you'll lose me.
My head spins happily,
and I can only whisper,
my voice meeting the beat,
let the music forever hold me.
